Blog Serenity
We are going to visit the tax man today. Ugh. But before we head out, I need some blog serenity. Today my good place will be secret gardens. In our first home DH and I designed our backyard and painstakingly installed the flagstone ourselves. We had a beautiful arbor which was covered with wisteria. Sitting beneath the arbor you would be surrounded by passion vines, black bamboo, impatiens, hydrangeas, roses, chinese lantern plants, potato vines and fuschias. We also had a whiskey barrel pond complete with a japanese bamboo fountain, lillies and a couple goldfish which surprisingly lived a long time. Yep, that was our secret garden. wow, I feel like I need to get outside, pick flowers and have a nice long cup of tea…rather than run around like a mad woman that is planned for the day. Good luck with the tax man!
