How was your weekend?

Ours was great but cold. Very cold. We managed to take a little excursion to The Old Post Office to take a tour of the clock tower. For as long as we’ve been living here, this was our first visit.    The main event for kids wasn’t really the tower but the ride over via the Metro.  Luckily, the metro station stops right outside the Old Post Office so there wasn’t too much walking.  Did I mention it was cold?  I love DC and all the architecture here.  I thought I’d share a few gorgeous details I snapped from our day out. Have a great week!

Even the radiator in the building was gorgeous

These bars were messing with my photos! LOL

I must say DC looks great through your lens!

And OMG, you went out this weekend? I, on the hand, didn’t step outside of my house at all.

I had no idea this was right in DC! I’ve been to the city several times but clearly I haven’t explored enough. The photos you took are beautiful — I think they really capture the charm of that city so well.

    Happy Monday, my dear!

  4. So gorgeous! I am going to be visiting DC later this year for my uncle’s retirement ceremony, so I’ll see if I can make it to that clocktower! Everything looks so beautiful.

@Brandi. Thanks! There’s so much to see and do here so there’s always something new to us although we’ve been here for almost 6 years.

Stunning photos. And isn’t funny how we live in an area with great history yet we never go visit. Its like in NY i’ve never been to the Statue of LIberty hehehe

Beautiful shots! We had a whirlwind weekend. My hubby was out of town, we had a series of bday parties, and then did a overnight trip two counties over to see my little bro which was fun, but exhausting! I seriously don’t know how single parents do it — I am so spoiled and lucky.
