Sorry all. I am a bit obsessed with kitchens of late. Did you notice? I’ve been poring over images of kitchens so much so that I now don’t know what I want. Only one thing I am certain of at this point is I want my kitchen to evoke comfort and coziness and there’s something about wood plank ceilings that creates this for me. From modern to country and everything in between, they make the space homey. What do you think about wood plank ceilings? Yea or nay?
I’ve been dreaming of my kitchen makeover yet again. Hoping to start our makeover before fall. So as you guessed, I have been perusing the web for some inspiration. My kitchen is very small, mind you-I live in an old city, in an old house. I am definitely a white-kitchen-kind-of-girl but welcome a splash of color. I love the cottage look although my house is a mix of motley furniture from yesteryear and today. I guess my style is a cross between midcentury, country and cottage. Can you even call that style? I can’t make up my mind. I love the patina, grace, and quality of antiques. I see Pottery Barn and I want to buy out the store. I’m on craigslist and see an absurd deal on Heywood Wakefield and I’m drooling. Anyhoo, I digress. I was dreaming of kitchens.
